After one hour drive east of Prague you get to the immensely architecturally rich town of Kutna Hora.
Built in the early Middle Ages in the middle of an extensive silver ore field it became in the course of time the second most significant town after Prague. While walking through the historical centre of the town you quickly realise why it was put on UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list. The interior of the Church of St. Barbara undoubtedly ranks among the best examples of Late Gothic architecture in Bohemia. You visit the church and the old mint, too.
All year round, TUE, THU, FRI, SAT, SUN 1:00 p.m. from Narodni Street 38 (location) or pick up at your hotel.
