A double bombing in Baghdad and a shootout in the city of Baquba have claimed the lives of at least five people and wounded 19 others, security sources said.
As many as five people were killed and up to ten wounded, when a bomb targeting a police patrol exploded. As other police ran to help a second bomb went off. Meanwhile, in Baquba, two policemen were killed and six others were wounded in a shootout with suspected Al-Qaeda operatives.
